The University Master in ICT Solutions for Welfare and Environment (BIMeTIC) is an official qualification favorably assessed by ANECA on October 26th, 2012 and approved by the Council of Universities on January 9th, 2013.

The Master BIMeTIC was created in response to the activity of the IDeTIC over the last 20 years. Green Technologies or Blue Technologies, in the marine environment, I+D+i area, as well as the leisure and health services (tourism, heritage, sport, etc.) are a large industry and make the main themes of this Master.

The applicant’s profile of the Master’s degree BIMeTIC requires the student to have interest in Information Technology and Communications (ICT) and its application in both the field of the control, monitoring and management of the environment; and those topics related to welfare, understood as human-environment interaction. All of this associated with economic and social aspects which might limit an idea or project implementation, regardless of technical feasibility.

The Master’s Degree BIMeTIC comprises 60 ECTS credits divided into two semesters and it offers 25 seats.
